Basic Requirements: 

• A device that has video and audio capabilities (A laptop or iPad is acceptable.)

  • An additional overhead camera is highly recommended, focusing on the piano keys and hands. This is for the instructor to ensure proper hand placement and technique of the student. ​

  • A plug-in microphone is not required but recommended for improved sound quality.

• High running internet connection

• Zoom account​

Device positioning:

• Position your device about 2 - 3 feet away from the piano and elevated where the student's hands and piano keys are visible.​​

• It must be positioned in a way that the instructor is visible. Most students place their device facing their side profile.
